Selling your business, with the right path to the table.

There are two ways owners work with us: a full sell-side process where we represent you from preparation through close, or a direct introduction to known, active buyers at no cost to you. Both start with the same confidential conversation.

The Mandate

Selling the business you built is the most consequential financial decision of your life. How you sell it should be a deliberate choice, not a default.

We've sat on the buyer's side, so we know exactly how institutional capital evaluates, prices, and pressures a deal. We bring that experience to owners in two distinct ways: one where we represent you and run an institutional sale process on your behalf, and one where we simply introduce you to buyers we know are active and interested. This page lays out both, side by side, so you can choose the path that fits what you actually want.

Two Ways to Work With Us

One where we represent you. One where we introduce you.

Path A

Full Sell-Side Process

Complete representation from engagement through close. We build the full marketing package and deliverables, run broad outreach to a targeted buyer universe, manage the data room and all information flow, negotiate on your behalf, and guide you through every stage of the process. This is the path for owners who want an advocate at the table and competitive tension working for them.

Compensation is an upfront retainer plus a success fee percentage at closing, paid by you as the seller. Our economics are aligned with your outcome.

Typical timeline from initial call to close: 90 to 180 days
Path B

Direct Buyer Introduction

An introduction to a small set of known, active buyers we already have relationships with and who we believe would have real interest in your business. The buyer pays our fee at close, and you pay nothing at any stage. Because there is no marketing package to build and no broad outreach to run, these move fast.

Be clear about what this path is: an introduction to a buyer, not advisory. Under a Direct Buyer Introduction we do not represent you, do not negotiate on your behalf, do not handle or manage information beyond sharing it directly with the buyer, and do not provide guidance through the sale process. If you want representation and negotiation, choose the Full Sell-Side Process.

Typical timeline from initial call to close: 60 to 120 days

If the buyer pays the fee, who is Dillon Park working for?

It's the right question, and your attorney or CPA will ask it too. The answer is simple, and we put it in writing up front: under a Direct Buyer Introduction, we are compensated by the buyer at close, and we are not acting as your representative. That is exactly why the introduction costs you nothing, and exactly why an owner who wants an advocate negotiating for them should choose the Full Sell-Side Process instead. You'll never have to guess where we stand. We disclose the arrangement before anything moves.
